The Barricade II has a molded plastic torsion bar that extends from the outsole (for arch support) to the lateral side of the upper, which helps prevent feet from rolling over when players stretch for a shot. Medial and lateral stability are enhanced by a low-to-the gournd ride, as well as three rubber stripes (in the form of the Adidas logo) that extend along the upper and attach to the metal eyelets.
